The Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies helps bring young students and supporters of good scholarship together. We are grateful to the following benefactors for providing bursaries and to these OCHS students for all their hard work.
The bursaries were presented by His Excellency Dr Zola Skweyiya, the South African High Commissioner, at our annual Board of Governors Dinner
- The Ambalal I. Patel Bursary and Ramlal Patel Bursary, sponsored by Pyarelal Patel, were awarded to Richard Williams and Paul Gerstmayr
- The Ashvatta Narayan Bursaries, sponsored by Bheeshma and Giri Rajagopalan, were awarded to Beatrice Cernuta and Meijia Ling
- Gupta Dan Bursaries, sponsored anonymously, were awarded to Corin Golding and Kiyokazu Okita
- Jiva Goswami Bursary, sponsored by Dr Ravi and Mrs Amrita Gupta, was awarded to Hrvoje Cargonja
- Krishnavarma Silver Medals, sponsored by Hemant Kumar Pandya, were awarded to Jason Birch and Rembert Lutjeharms
- Pandit Abaji Bursary, sponsored by Raj and Ramila Chauhan, was awarded to Tristan Elby
- Patel Book Grant, sponsored by Kamlesh and Yaksha Patel, was awarded to Yi Zhu
- Prof. Makhan Lal Roy Chaudhury Book Prize, sponsored by Prof. Mandakranta Bose, was awarded to Tristan Elby
